Engaging events. Immersive programs. Activities that inspire. K-12 schools around the globe are looking for educational opportunities—here, they take place year-round, on-site and virtually. These programs are shaped to spur young students’ curiosity in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM)—the skills which are critical for addressing key challenge areas for our nation.
The Griffiss Institute and Air Force Research Laboratory Information Directorate partner with local K-12 schools to foster a new generation of scientists, mathematicians, engineers and technologists who will one day discover and problem solve in the nation’s defense laboratories and other supporting U.S. companies. In order to achieve this goal, there must be a concerted effort to connect business, government foundations, institutions of higher education, professional organizations, schools, teachers and students.
