As a visitor to the Innovare Advancement Center (IAC), we want to facilitate getting you the access you need for the best experience in our facility. Please follow the below instructions:
You are required to fill out the below form IF:
- You require UNESCORTED access to our facility (e.g., Will be coming and going over multiple days and/or need to visit multiple rooms/labs while here UNESCORTED)
- You a Foreign National (NOT a US Citizen)
-- ACTION: Fill out the below form at least 5 days (10 days for Foreign Nationals) prior to your visit; IF you are requesting a badge for UNESCORTED access, please wait until receipt of email confirmation from Guest Relations before showing up to get your badge; At your badge appointment time or for the day of your visit, show up (see directions below to our facility) and sign in at the Guest Relations desk on 2nd floor; wait for your host to escort you
You DO NOT need to fill out the below form IF:
- Your visit is short in duration (e.g., tour, <3 hr. meeting, can/will be escorted by GI/IAC host during your visit, only accessing public space on 2nd floor)
-- ACTION: Bring a picture ID with you; show up (see directions below to our facility) and sign in at the Guest Relations desk on 2nd floor; wait for your host to escort you, or attend the event in the 2nd floor public space (e.g., Coffee & Concepts, conference, or ceremony)
Directions to guests visiting GI in Rome, NY for the first time: Griffiss Institute is located at 592 Hangar Rd. Rome, NY 13440, inside the Innovare Advancement Center. As you enter our open innovation environment, we kindly ask you to enter through the revolving doors and proceed to our second-floor welcome center. Should stairs present any inconvenience, an elevator awaits to your right upon entry. For seamless check-in, please visit our welcome desk where you'll be greeted by Ms. Amy James, our Senior Guest Relations Specialist.
